St. Louis Artists' Guild Chose Color Explorations

I’m excited to share that my newest series, Color Explorations, will be featured in the 2026 St. Louis Artists' Guild Members Exhibition. The opening reception is happening on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Guild’s space, located at 12 Jackson Ave, Clayton, MO 63105.
In this series, I’ve been exploring vibrant colors like luminous turquoise, molten gold, coral bloom, and rippling chartreuse. The paintings reveal intricate textures—patterns of cells and lace-like networks—that invite close looking. At the same time, sweeping areas of color create a sense of flowing motion, almost as if the paintings are alive. I’ve worked to balance moments of spontaneity with careful control, transforming accidental pigment effects into meaningful details. My hope is that every glance reveals something new and sparks curiosity.

This exhibition is a wonderful chance for anyone interested in contemporary abstract art to experience a dynamic and colorful collection. Whether you’re familiar with my work or seeing it for the first time, I’d love for you to come and explore these paintings with me.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Please mark your calendars and join me for an evening of art and conversation at the St. Louis Artists' Guild on September 4. I look forward to seeing you there!
