The Gasparilla Festival of the Arts weekend was a significant and memorable experience for me as an artist.

I’m delighted to announce that I’ve been selected as an Emerging Artist for the 2026 Gasparilla Festival of the Arts! This festival is renowned for celebrating creativity and innovation, and I’m honored to be part of such a dynamic event.

This recognition feels especially meaningful as someone who transitioned from a career in science and technology to a life immersed in art. My work is all about experimentation—testing new materials and methods, exploring color and texture, and inviting viewers into a world of visual discovery. Being chosen for Gasparilla is a wonderful affirmation of that approach.

“Ribbons and Lace” unfurls across a 24 by 30-inch canvas as a vibrant exploration of color, texture, and motion, where every element seems to dance in dynamic harmony.
