Molten Symphony Selected for the Abstract Art Show
Molten Symphony Selected for the Abstract Art Show at Soulard Art Gallery
I’m excited to share that Molten Symphony has been selected for exhibition in the Abstract Art Show at Soulard Art Gallery in St. Louis, Missouri. The show opens on July 10, 2026, with a Meet the Artist reception from 7:00–9:00 PM.
This exhibition feels especially meaningful because the show’s tagline, “Speak with Color and Feel with Shapes,” aligns so closely with the spirit of my work. That phrase captures the heart of what I strive to express in my paintings: an energetic dialogue between color, texture, movement, and form. In many ways, Molten Symphony was created with that very conversation in mind.
My artistic practice is rooted in exploration. I approach each piece as a visual experiment, allowing layers, marks, and materials to interact in ways that reveal both intention and spontaneity. Abstract painting gives me the freedom to work in that space between control and emergence — where structure begins to dissolve and the painting starts to speak in its own voice.
Molten Symphony reflects that process. It is a work shaped by dynamic movement, rich surface variation, and the expressive possibilities of color. To see it selected for an exhibition centered on abstraction is deeply rewarding, because it places the work in dialogue with viewers who are open to feeling as much as interpreting.
Exhibitions like this matter because they create a space for connection. Art does not need to explain everything to be meaningful. Sometimes it simply needs to invite attention, spark emotion, and allow each viewer to bring their own experience into the encounter. That is one of the things I love most about abstract work — it creates room for personal response.
I’m grateful to Soulard Art Gallery for including Molten Symphony in this exhibition, and I’m honored to be part of a show that celebrates the expressive language of abstraction. If you’re in St. Louis, I hope you’ll stop by the gallery and experience the exhibition in person.
Thank you, as always, for supporting my work and following this journey.
